Help me girls! What is the best way to get my ex girlfriend back?

My guess is that she just wants a little space for now. We've been together for a very long time and talked about getting married a lot. There have been lots of changes going on in his life for the past few months with his family and those things, so I'm thinking that maybe just needs some time to herself now. She says she still loves me, and we still talk a little. Should I leave her alone for a while and let you have time for herself?
