fastest ways to test your boyfriend

Could this be considered a learning disorder?
I'm 22. I can read perfectly well. I graduated high school and was never in any remedial classes and never diagnosed with any type of disorder. The other day when I was reading something aloud to my boyfriend, I realized I'm doing something very strange. I'll read most of the fine, but his sentence, as if to ignore the words and put in my own words. Not purpse, is just the way see the sentence. I thought it was only bc I tend to read fast, but even when I fell the same. If I see the word CAT I read more and see the C and T and I will add COT word or cut. And I realized that when I read that I read in the same sentence or paragraph 2 to 3 times before understanding what is said / he told me. This I noticed while I was in high school. I had a hell of a time with testing and I always took longer than others with reading assignments. Are these the traits of a disorder learning or could be something more?
Sounds like dyslexia. He obviously struggled and managed to work out. You must be a strong and intelligent person! Http: / / www.connbida.net / aspects_of_adult_dyslexia.htm.
